Rule 14
Duties, duties and powers of the Director General
The duties, duties and powers of the Director General shall be as follows, in addition to other things:-
(a) To give necessary instructions to the directorate and district education office to implement educational plans and programs (b) coordinating the work of the directors,
(c) Forming committees, sub-committees or task forces as needed to implement educational plans and programs (D) To make the work related to the administration, management and educational development of the teachers,
(e) Prepare and implement the educational program of the school,
(f) To implement the policies and regulations decided by the Ministry,
(G) To monitor and evaluate the educational plans and programs run by the department and to send the report every two months to the ministry and related agencies,
(h) Arranging the necessary arrangements to implement the programs of secondary education, basic and primary education and child development centers,
(i) Inspecting and evaluating the work of the Director and District Education Officer (j) Make objective basis and standards to ensure transparency and implementation of the financial system in schools,
(j1) To manage the funds provided by the Government of Nepal to the higher secondary schools,
(j2) Designate the work area of ​​foreign volunteers who want to teach in schools and supervise and monitor their work,
(k) To do other work as prescribed by the Ministry.
